This is the last of the Tennessee series. Some of the pictures dip into a part of North Carolina because the mountains are adjoined. It is a land of greenery, pasture, mountains, waterfalls, cascades, rivers and parks. It has visitor centers aplenty and they all offer tons of brochures that incite the visitors to go explore. I have to admit that this is the first state I have seen with so many visitor centers. Every single center that I visited had an outstanding, welcoming, gracious and overwhelmingly pleasant staff. It was a case of southern hospitality at its best. Congrats Tennessee!
At random you get to see the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Great Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove, Laurel Falls, Clingmans Dome, the city of Gatlinburg and a visitor center with surrounding picnic area.
